I also have commitments like my business and studies, so I’d like flexibility.

Everything is flexible and shared. So if you can’t be on any Zoom calls, you will still receive the recording to watch in your own time. All videos and course materials are shared for you to do in your own time at your own pace.

Is the program suitable for someone with no knowledge of AI?

Yes, we will be able to help people who have never even looked at AI to get started. You will only need a basic knowledge of how to open a website and the ability to login to an AI app (which is free).

How long is this commitment?

The AI Academy is for five weeks. But how much time you put into it is entirely your choice. We will provide the best training and tools we can, and you can spend as much time and get as involved as you find helpful.

Do you provide in-person training?

We will do our best to coach as many participants as we are able using the methods we have shared above. This is a freely offered service, and so all training and coaching will be done in ways that help as many people as possible.

Do I need to have a laptop?

No you can use a phone (or a tablet). If you have access to a laptop, it might help with some tasks. Most AI processing that we will talk about is done in the cloud and via web browsers, so internet is important. But the speed of the laptop is not so important.

Can I join Level 2 if I am not chosen for Level 3?

We are not having levels anymore. So everyone will be able to access everything.

Can the Academy be extended to parts of the world without computer access?

AI requires a computer to make it work. So at this stage the training is based around people able to access it. However, we already have great examples of resources made with AI that are helping people who don’t have computers or phones.

What is your time zone for online meetings?

The online meetings will be at 10am and 10pm GMT/UTC every Thursday from 24th October through to the 21st November. The 10pm GMT/UTC call will be a repeat of the 10am GMT/UTC call. You do not need to attend both. Just attend the one that works best for your time zone.

You can view the times in your own time zone and download calendar invites here.

Will there be continuous collaboration after the Academy?

We do have an ongoing AI learning community you will be invited to join if you would like to stay connected after the Academy.
