Hi friends

SHARING APPS - If you have an AI app you would like to share with the group, please click here https://gcf.community/tools/resources/ and add your suggestion into the form there (plus you'll see links to AI tools). We will be collating everything to share in the Academy Manual you will receive.
QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS - In a few days time we will be emailing updated details of dates, times and answers to the questions people have sent in the Google registration form.
PREPARATION - Please be in prayer for this unique AI Academy. Pray also about what you want to make in the Academy, as this will help you learn and use AI by doing it. (Pray also for the admin team who are all volunteers!)

This Academy will be unique as we seek to learn together from each other. We are representing over 70 nations and every region of the world. 442 people have signed up so far!

We pray that this time will be practical, will stretch our thinking in helpful ways on using AI in our ministry serving, help us be more creative, and give unique insights into how AI is being used in different places.

We aim to cater for beginners who have never used AI, through to advanced users harnessing AI everyday! Plus we want to give ways for you to contribute your learning. No one knows everything about AI! This will be an exciting and challenging time together.

Please pray and ask the Lord to prepare all of us to learn and grow.

Info Update 02

We will be sending everyone an email in the next few days with important information about the AI Academy. Please look out for it, as it will come from the Global Children's Forum email system.

This will be a long email attempting to answer everyone's questions! So please take a few minutes to read it when it comes.

Quick overview of dates and times

LAUNCH ON THE 19TH OCTOBER: On the 19th October we will send the first stage of training materials and training videos. This will give you some time to look at it before the first call. We are NOT going to have a zoom call on the 19th October now. We realise you will need some time to look at the materials to make the zoom calls worthwhile.
WEEKLY ZOOM CALLS: The AI Academy zoom calls will start on Thursday 24th October at 10am GMT/UTC and repeated at 10pm GMT/UTC time (see here for more details). It will be five Thursdays in a row finishing on the 21st November. These calls are for discussions and learning together based on the Academy training material and videos. The zoom calls will be recorded and shared to everyone.

Please know that this AI Academy is about practically growing in our creativity, learning how to handle the Bible well (with AI), grow ministry skills and getting to know Jesus better even as we discover how AI works and how it can help us! Please keep praying for this time together.

Hello everyone! I just wanted to let you know that we sent out an email on Saturday to everyone who has registered for the AI Academy. Do please look out for that in your email inbox. If you haven’t received it do please check your ‘Promotions’ folder and your Spam folder.

The email contains lots of useful information including:

Dates and times for the Zoom calls
The link to register for the Zoom calls
Answers to all the questions asked on the sign up form

We are very sad to announce that some people have used this group info to send some of us spam messages and join groups.

IF YOU ARE INVITED INTO A GROUP OTHER THAN AN OFFICIAL AI ACADEMY GROUP please block it and delete it. You will know a group is official if it comes from Simon Hood or James Burden.

This AI Academy is going to be wonderful celebration of Jesus, the Bible, human creativity and learning AI Tools. It involves so many remarkable leaders from 90+ countries. It is about learning together is an environment of love, joy and encouragement. We value everyone's precious time and involvement.

To protect everyone, we have strict guidelines and only allow messages related to the AI Academy. You may not use anyone's WhatsApp numbers or details for any other purpose.

Anyone found to be breaking this will be immediately taken out of the AI Academy group.
