Should I plan to purchase, or subscribe to, software to use during the academy?

We will talk about some paid subscriptions that you can choose to use if you would like to and can afford them.

How flexible is the schedule?

This AI Academy is not like a school. We are offering wonderful training and resources, but it will be up to you how much you choose to do and use. We are not having levels anymore. So everyone will be able to access everything. You will be free to do as much or as little as you are able.

What if I can’t share my content? How will that be managed?

That’s not a problem. We encourage people to share so that everyone learns, but it will not be a requirement of participating.

What specific goals or outcomes does the team aim to achieve with the AI Academy?

Our main goal is to help ministry leaders and practitioners of any age or culture to learn more how AI might help them in ministry and serving Jesus. The specific goal is learning together to move everyone beyond where they are now to see and learn new possibilities.

Is there any certification for this?

This is not an academically recognized course. It is however a very practical ministry training course led by ministry practitioners. We will be able to give you a Certificate of Participation at the end if you fill in a questionnaire.

Can AI tools assist with language translation and communication in regional languages?

Yes we are seeing ways that AI is greatly assisting in translation.

How does the team plan to address diverse learning needs?

We will do our best, and we are keen to learn more of what you would like to see happen to support this.

Will there be a specific cohort for my country / region?

We are operating as a global group, rather than via small groups.

What is your time zone for online meetings?

The online meetings will be at 10am and 10pm GMT/UTC every Thursday from 24th October through to the 21st November. The 10pm GMT/UTC call will be a repeat of the 10am GMT/UTC call. You do not need to attend both. Just attend the one that works best for your time zone.
