Algorithm

A set of instructions or rules designed to solve a problem or accomplish a task.

API (Application Programming Interface)

A set of rules and tools for building software applications. In AI, APIs allow developers to access and use pre-trained models or services.

Artificial general intelligence (AGI):

DALL-E

An AI model developed by OpenAI specifically designed for generating images from textual descriptions.

Dataset

A structured collection of data. In the context of AI and ML, datasets are used for training, validating, and testing models.

Deep Learning

An approach to AI inspired by how neurons in the brain recognise complex patterns in data. The “deep” refers to the many layers of neurons in today’s models that help to learn rich representations of data to achieve better performance gains.
